ACE inhibitors and Spironolactone: ACE inhibitors cause retention of Potassium in body due to inhibition of aldosterone formation and thus should be used carefully with spironolactone-a potassium sparing diuretic otherwise cause hyperkalemia and result in toxicity and complete heart block.
