- Macrolides, cyclosporine,ketoconazo;e,certain protease inhibitors,nefazodone and fibrates inhibit the metabolism of lovastatin while on the other hand,griseofulvin,phenytoin,barbiturates,rifampicin and thiazildinedions increase the metabolism of lovastatin.
- Verapamil and amiodarone when used along lovastatin increase the risk of myopathy.
